PeakSave is our new flexible energy scheme that’s rewarding customers for making small changes to their regular routines.

Using smart meters, PeakSavers can earn credit towards their bills by helping the grid to better balance demand for energy when it’s particularly high, or low.

How do I sign up

If you'd like to take part in our PeakSave events simply fill in the form below.

We’re currently running PeakSave Summer Sundays events. So if you register by Sunday, you could start saving the following Sunday.

Once you've registered, we'll check your smart electricity credit meter is sending us readings:

If it is, we’ll get you set up and let you know that you can take part.
And if it's not, we'll get in touch with you again.

If you haven’t got a smart credit meter, still complete your details, and then take the next step by booking your free installation. Simply log into your account and check for an invitation to upgrade. If there’s no invite, please check regularly.

PeakSave is for our smart electricity credit meter customers, it's not currently available for those with prepayment meters.

Not a British Gas customer yet?

You won't be able to sign up for PeakSave if you are not with British Gas. But we'd love you to join us. Getting an energy quote online is simple – it only takes a few minutes, and we'll do the rest.

I'm happy with the privacy policy. I'm also happy for British Gas to collect 30 minute consumption data from my smart meter, as this is necessary to take part in PeakSave. It also means British Gas can offer other tailored products and services to help manage my energy usage. I can change to daily or monthly meter readings at any time by getting in touch with British Gas, however, I'll no longer be able to participate in the PeakSave initiatives.

Don’t have a smart meter?

You’ll need a smart meter installed to take part in our PeakSave events. Log in to your account and check for an invitation to upgrade to smart. No invitation showing? Come back regularly.
